Circles are said to be sacred. The clock tower represents stacks because the top contains a circle with the time, which could be symbolizing how time is of the essence and sacred.
The detail on this building represent groves. The columns and square metal detailing are examples of groves for this building.

Do environments influence RITUALS or do rituals influence ENVIRONMENTS?

Blog Post 1

As an devoted daytime napper I decided to go with one of my favorite pillows as my object. This pillow has one of my favorite color combinations (blues and greens) and also my favorite bird (peacock). It is the perfect size, shape, and is the most comfortable pillow. In design I am concerned about the look of a space, but besides that aspect I am about comfort and functionality. With this pillow it is functional and comfortable and gorgeous, which is what I strive for my designs to be. In our culture I feel that napping is a important aspect without sleep our bodies would break down and we would be like zombies.
